Use your Cricut to make these cute faux shamrock earrings—they’ll keep you from getting pinched on St. Patrick’s Day. An easy St. Patrick’s Day jewelry project.
Last week I mentioned how much I hate getting pinched for forgetting to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day. You can grab the SVG files to make that Pinch Proof pin, or you can whip up a pair of these adorable shamrock St. Patrick’s Day earrings!
These four leaf clover earrings come together in less than 10 minutes, making them a super easy St. Patrick’s Day jewelry project. You could whip out a whole bunch and gift them to your friends who forgot to wear green too!
Finding green leather or suede was difficult, so I cut these out of Cricut’s gold faux leather and then used some green paint to make them pinch-proof. I used masking tape to tape off a diagonal line and used two coats of green paint. I love how these look in the two-tone! They would also be so cute cut entirely in green leather or suede if you can find it.
I love working with Cricut’s faux leather to make jewelry—it’s so light and it cuts beautifully. I suggest using Cricut’s purple Strong Grip mat when cutting faux leather so that it won’t shift while the machine cuts. A new blade is also helpful if you find it not cutting nicely.

Shamrock St. Patrick’s Day Earrings Directions
Making these earrings is one of the easiest projects EVER. Cut out the downloaded file on your Cricut or other cutting machine. I used gold faux leather and the purple strong grip mat and it worked really well. Using your poker, make a small hole at the top of the teardrop shape. It should be about 1/16″ from the top — pretty darn close to the edge!
Use your needle-nose pliers to work open the ring at the bottom of the fishhook earring. Slide the teardrop onto the earring using the hole you just poked, and clamp the ring back in place.
They are ready to wear! I spent less than ten minutes designing, cutting, and assembling these earrings. And since I did the design work for you, you just have to cut and make!
Super easy! Hope you’ve enjoyed this easy St. Patrick’s Day craft!
