How to Assemble the Unicorn Bookmarks
Start by cutting out all of the pieces on your Cricut or Silhouette. Here are the colors and shapes you’ll end up with:
- White: Face w/ Ears
- Light Pink: Snout + Inside Ears + Mane
- Gold: Horn + Star
- Glitter Purple/Pink: Flower
- Teal: Mane
- Purple: Mane
- For the nose and eyes, use a thin black pen
Fold the two triangular ends so they create the bookmark shape. One ear is cut out of the paper, so when you fold it both ears will pop up! Glue the back of the top flap to the front of the back flap, so that a book page can be inserted.
Then start gluing all of the pieces on. I like using a pair of tweezers to help hold the small pieces. Spray glue is my favorite glue for this! Start with the pink snout and ears.
Then add the horn.
Then three layers of mane — they are slighting different sizes, so make sure the smallest piece is glued first with the medium and larger pieces on top of that.
And finish with the flower and star — your unicorn is so fancy!
Use a thin black pen to draw the nostrils and eyes. I did two different eyes and both are easy and adorable!
Just slip the unicorn over the corner of your page and you won’t lose your spot! Also check out my round up of Fun and Easy Cricut Bookmark Tutorials & SVG Files!

Hi John,
You want to fold the two triangle sides up so they create the bookmark shape. One ear is cut out of the paper, so when you fold it both ears will pop up! Glue the back of the top flap to the front of the back flap, so that a book page can be inserted.
Hope this helps,

My girls (9 and 8) and I made these this morning, they loved them. We used Peachy Keen Emoji stamps for the eyes and they just turned out so darling, they are excited to use them for their summer reading books. Thank you for the free cut!
