This happy little paper Santa craft will liven up your holiday decor! Easily transform the the gnome pattern from my craft book Paper Party into this adorable Santa.
Earlier this year, my craft book Paper Party was released by Leisure Arts Publishing! It was such a privilege to take what I love to do here on my blog and translate that into a craft book—and then to find that craft book on the shelves of some of my favorite craft stores and online!
Paper Party has five fun party themes with 5–7 party ideas to make using my favorite crafting material—paper! It’s hard to pick a favorite party in the book, but I really can’t help but love the Gnome Sweet Gnome party. It turned out so whimsical and cute and is perfect for all sorts of parties—retirement parties, housewarmings, and baby showers come to mind. Seriously, how cute are these guys?
In the book, there are both SVG files for cutting on a Cricut, Silhouette, or other cutting machine, as well as hand-cut patterns. Having the digital files makes them super customizable if you have a cutting machine!
I decided to take the gnome pattern and easily transform him into a Santa for Christmas! All I did differently was slice his suit in half and change the lower part of his suit to red, and then I added a circle at the top of his at as a little pom pom. Tada! Super easy, super cute Santa. He’s the perfect Santa craft for Christmas parties and all sorts of holiday decor. You could even cut the same file with a green suit and make a village of elves!
The trees are also from Paper Party—they are a simple 3D paper project that add dimension and life to any Christmas party decor—plus the fold flat for storage. Yay! Also…want that felt board? I have found this one to be the best that I’ve purchased, and…I’ve purchased more than I care to admit.
But remember, the gnome/santa cut files and hand-cut patterns are exclusively in Paper Party, so pick up today!
And there are more Santa SVGS to be found here on my blog plus a Free Santa SVG!
