Discover the 2025 trending holiday products and themes every crafter should know to boost sales this holiday season.

Last year I shared my top trends for the holidays and the post and video were a hit! So let’s do it again for 2025. There are some trends that are holding strong, plus some new ones to the market for 2025.
Now remember: the key here is to not RELY on the trends. Your business should have the products that have historically sold well. Do not overhaul your entire shop based on trends! But if you sprinkle in some of the current trends, making them work with your particular product lineup, there’s a good chance you’ll see some success with trendy products. You’ll also see some overlap in the trends below as well! Stamps with geese. Patches with sardines. Etc.
Are you seeing other 2025 trending products and themes? Let everyone know down in the comments!
1. Cozy Everything
If there’s one overarching word I think that describes this holiday season, it’s cozy. The word “cozy” is everywhere, and it shows up in a lot of different ways in this years trends. This isn’t the hygge simplicity of years past, this is more throw pillows than you need, a warm vintage crazy quilt, or being surrounded by books in your personal library. It’s more maximalist, more rich, more luxe—but still soft and warm.
2. Stamps
Not ink stamps, but postage stamps! Stickers, art prints, and apparel with stamps and cute images are trending everywhere. Whether it’s botanicals, animals, or seasonal designs, this aesthetic adds a touch of vintage charm while still feeling modern and collectible.
3. Coquette Doodle Frames
An offshoot of the very popular coquette style are cute hand-drawn frames. We’re not talking actual picture frames here (though that could be cute), but frames used in design, similar to the stamps I mentioned above.
4. Striped Bows
Another offshoot of coquette style is striped bows. Bows have been small and pink and very cute for a few years, but this year think big and bold and striped. It’s like maximalism (see below) and coquette had a very loud but adorable baby.
5. Patches
DIY fashion is booming, and patches—embroidered, chenille, and leather—are a hot choice. Patches can add personality to jackets, tote bags, and hats. Nostalgia-driven designs (retro band-style logos, 70s florals, or maximalist) are particularly popular. Combine these with other trends I talk about in this post, like stamps, geese, and crows.
6. Patchwork
In addition to patches, I’m also seeing a lot of patchwork around. From actual patchwork like cozy vintage quilts, to that patchwork look in different designs. It’s giving that cottagecore feel that has been pretty trendy for the last few years.
7. Charms
Charms are versatile—keychains, phone cases, Kindles, jewelry, zipper pulls, planner accessories. From chunky resin pieces to tiny delicate metalwork, they’re an easy way for buyers to express personality.
8. Bold Maximalist
After years of beige, minimalism is out and maximalism is in. Bold colors, loud patterns, layering textures, and mixed motifs dominate. Crafters can lean into over-the-top prints, bold patterns, bright accents, and clashing aesthetics to celebrate “more is more.”
9. Dark Academia
This moody, bookish aesthetic still has staying power—think gothic fonts, candlelit vibes, classic literature quotes, and cozy academic accessories. Journals, bookmarks, prints, and apparel are perfect products here.
10. Coquette (but Make it Maximalist)
Coquette’s delicate bows and lace details are being reimagined in a bigger, bolder way. Imagine oversized bows, dramatic ruffles, and frilly but statement-making accessories. Perfect for statement jewelry, hair clips, or home décor accents.
11. Kitschmas
This was on my list for last year, but it’s still going strong. Christmas trends are leaning toward playful, campy, and over-the-top vintage kitsch. Bright tinsel, retro ornaments, vintage Santas, novelty stockings, and fun color palettes (think pink and teal instead of red and green).
12. Gothmas
If you want to go a little darker, I’ve seen dark and luxe Christmas starting to make an appearance. Think black velvet, intricate lace, bronze accents. It’s sort of dark academia (above) + Halloween + Christmas with maybe a sprinkling of the Day of the Dead in there.
13. Gingerbread
As far as particular Christmas aesthetics go, I think we’re going to see a surge of gingerbread cookies and houses this year. I’ve seen gingerbread bookstores and coquette gingerbread girls. Think icing and candy and sugar!
14. Grunge Textures
Oh what feels like the opposite end of the spectrum from coquette, 90s grunge is back with distressed finishes, ripped edges, layered fabrics, and raw textures. Makers can experiment with rough finishes on prints, embroidery on torn denim, or digital grunge overlays for design files.
15. Geese
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably seen geese everywhere! Oddly specific animal motifs are always fun, and geese have taken the spotlight this year. Goose stickers, embroidery patterns, mugs, and apparel are trending thanks to their quirky, chaotic vibe (hello, Untitled Goose Game energy—anyone else play?).
16. Crows
Like geese, crows are having a moment, tied to gothic and mysterious aesthetics. Crow jewelry, artwork, and motifs tied to folklore, omens, or simply their sleek look are popular across both Dark Academia and witchy-inspired shops.
17. Sardines
Yes, sardines! This oddly specific food trend is showing up in illustrations, stickers, enamel pins, and even packaging-inspired art (think vintage sardine cans as an aesthetic). It taps into both retro and whimsical kitsch.
From geese and crows to bold maximalist décor and kitschy Christmas creations, today’s crafting trends are all about personality and play. These 2025 trending products and themes are already catching shoppers’ attention—and they’re only going to grow as we head into Q4. Shoppers aren’t looking for perfect—they’re looking for pieces that feel unique, expressive, and unexpected. Whether you’re designing stickers, apparel, or home décor, these trending aesthetics are full of opportunities to put your own creative spin on what’s hot right now!
