This sweet southern peach radler makes entertaining a breeze! Mix one up in a drink dispenser, turn on some country music, and live the good life.
There’s not much that goes together more perfectly than country music and a nice cold beer. But this year, for “The 50th Annual CMA Awards,” my beer needs to get gussied up a little bit. It is Country Music’s Biggest Night™ after all!
I’m excited to tune into “The CMA Awards” this year. Two of my all-time favorite artists are going to be performing—Keith Urban and Dierks Bentley (who is performing with Elle King—what a great pairing!). A number of years ago a friend and I went to see Urban in concert and it solidified my total love for him. Such an incredible performer and musician. That man can tear up a banjo!
And he’s cute, to boot!
If you’re a country music fan, make sure to check out the sweepstakes at the bottom of this post. You and a guest could win a trip for two to see “The CMA Awards” in Nashville this year!
Anyway, back to my beer. A radler is the German version of a shandy—sort of the Arnold Palmer of the beer world. Beer + lemonade or ginger ale. I like to kick it up a notch with brandy. Yum!
I like my beer on the lighter end, so this recipe builds off one of my favorite beers—Sierra Nevada’s Nooner pilsner—with sweet lemonade and warm peach brandy. It’s light, sweet, and tastes just like summer down by the lake.
The recipe is totally scalable as well. I like making it in a big glass drink dispenser and serving in handled mason jars. It’s great for a party drink—I think I’ll invite some girls over for a CMA viewing party this year on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at 8/7c on ABC! We’ll watch as the country music industry honors its finest entertainers and celebrates 50 years of excellence.
